Here at Elevate Yoga & Wellness it is our mission to not only to have created a yoga studio but to build a true commUNITY where everyONE and everyBODY {no matter what} feels confident, fearless, empowered, and welcomed. Recognizing the historical financial inequity that has limited BIPOC representation in the yoga teaching community, we offer BIPOC scholarships in all of our training programs. These scholarships provide an opportunity for individuals from black, indigenous, and people of color communities to deepen their teaching skills and personal practice. Supporting BIPOC Aspiring Yoga Teachers
Gaining a yoga teaching certificate is a significant investment, often costing thousands of dollars. This financial barrier disproportionately affects BIPOC individuals who may face systemic economic challenges. Here at Elevate Yoga & Wellness, we recognize this disparity and we aim to address it by offering scholarships that cover 100% of the training program costs, including materials and certification. By eliminating the financial burden, it is our goal to open doors for BIPOC individuals who aspire to become yoga teachers.
Increasing Representation and Diversity
The lack of BIPOC representation among yoga teachers is a prevailing issue in the wellness community. We are actively working to change this narrative by offering our BIPOC scholarships.
By providing access to quality training programs, we aim to foster diversity within the yoga teaching community.
