BIPOC Scholarships

At our core we are a commUNITY first before we are a studio—a family and a safe space for everyBODY and anyONE. We are committed to creating a space where ALL humans feel safe, comfortable and welcome at all times—to sharing the practice of aerial yoga, meditation, and healing, without exception.

Our Commitment

We recognize that the conversation of equity in the yoga community needs attention. It is important to what the Elevate commUNITY is built on— a space where every kind of person is not only represented but understood, accepted and celebrated.

We are committed to actively creating this container each and every day, love each other's inherent differences and to be a space where all have access to the practice of yoga and meditation, regardless of skin color, gender identification, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and cultural background.

As a part of our continued commitment to diversify the yoga community and the Elevate commUNITY, we're excited to award scholarships to members of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community.

AJ, Aerial Yoga BIPOC Scholarship recipient Elevate Yoga Phoenix Arizona

Elevate stands out as truly exceptional, thanks to its remarkable company culture and unwavering commitment to consistency. What sets them apart, is their genuine dedication to promoting and raising awareness for communities that are all too often overlooked and undervalued. The word "community" resonates throughout the studio, embracing individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life through visibility within the studio.

The part of the training I liked the most was the delivery and structure of the training itself. Brandi and Amber set a very welcoming atmosphere that supported us as new and seasoned learners. The videos used to enhance
out-of-class time were curated from years of experience as teachers in order to identify key barriers to improve teaching styles and delivery.

If you’re an instructor, or looking to be one, Elevate is where you should go. They ensure you have access to educational material to use at your own pace, opportunities to practice your skills in a studio setting alone and as a student, discounts on equipment so you have access to a silk for your practice, and opportunities to find your people and build a community that's the right fit for you.
