BRITTANY

Aerial Yoga Teacher

After years of being too nervous to try yoga she finally attended her first beginner yoga class in 2017. At the same time she was participating in an 8-week Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction program and was amazed to see how to two practices went hand in hand with each other and how beneficial they were for her physically and mentally. A few months later she gave Aerial Yoga a try, and after her second class she was hooked! She knew she wanted to become a yoga teacher so she could teach Aerial Yoga.

Brittany completed her 50-hr Aerial YTT at Desert Air Yoga in October 2018 and apprenticed with the studio until she finished her 200-hr YTT from SWIHA in April 2019. Since then she has taught many styles of Aerial Yoga as well as slow flow and gentle mat yoga to all ages and skill levels. She also holds a variety of other yoga and mindfulness certifications, and loves to keep expanding her knowledge and training

Brittany likes to focus on awareness and staying present within her classes and she strives to create a welcoming and fun environment for all students. In her free time, she likes to bake, read, listen to 90s alternative rock, travel, be creative, and go to farmer’s markets and craft fairs. She also loves going back home to Detroit, MI (where she is from) a few times a year to visit her family and friends.
