Elevate offers classes for everyone! From relaxing to strength building, and everything in between!

Because we want you to have the best experience possible, we ask that all new students read the class descriptions before registering for our classes so you know what to expect. We also require all new students attend our Fundamentals Workshop before attending our Level 1-3 classes. This ensures you feel comfortable navigating the aerial silk before joining class and for those that have taken aerial yoga classes in other studios understand the queuing used in our space. 

 

All classes are 60 minutes (unless otherwise noted) and are categorized as:

  • Level 0 = All Levels (no previous experience needed)

  • Level 1 = All Levels (Aerial Yoga Fundamentals pre-requisite required)

  • Level 2 = Intermediate

  • Level 3 = Advanced (students should feel comfortable transitioning in the silk on their own before attending)

YOGA NIDRA

This 45 minute class begins with a guided meditation into a state of deep relaxation where breathing and thoughts are slowed. As you drift into a conscious state of sleep, known as yogic sleep, you will float weightless in the aerial silk above the ground as you experience complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Aside from being relaxing, restorative and restful, yoga Nidra improves mental clarity, increases your energy, your creativity & intuition will flourish and mood swings & emotional upsets are minimized.

RESTORE

This class is a gentle, meditative, slow stretching and rehabilitative flow where students can expect to float through a series of luxurious supported poses with the aerial silk positioned about a foot off the floor designed to help you relax and slow down. Drift quietly for several minutes as the gentle positions facilitate deep release in the physical and energetic body with a focus on opening the joints. With the combined support and comfort of the aerial silk and restorative yoga poses, students will enjoy melting away physical and mental tension, resulting in a deeply rested body and mind - ending with guided meditation and savasana.

ALL LEVELS

This class will use the breath to move through aerial yoga asanas while incorporating modifications for all skill levels, accommodating beginners and experienced aerial yogis alike. After a warm up sequence, move through creative flow sequences, both in and out of the silk, transition to balance and strength poses, explore movements that will assist with your flexibility while lengthening the body, and lastly transition through several inversions that will focus on decompressing and hydrating the spine. Class will end with a relaxing savasana where students are invited to float above the ground in the silk.

ALL LEVELS FLOW TO RESTORE

This class will bring together a unique balance of yang and yin - the perfect class to restore and refresh the mind and body. Think Elevated + Restore + Nidra... pure bliss! Class will begin by energetically flowing through a series of movement that will built heat, open the body and center the mind. After flowing, class will slowly fade into the aerial silks for slower moving, restorative and yin stretching as the mind and body begin to relax. From energetic folds, cleansing twists and heart openers, class will slowly transition into a deep meditative state for an extended savasana with guided meditation to close out the practice.

EXPRESS ALL LEVELS FLOW

Similar to our All Levels class, this 50-minute class will use the breath to move through aerial yoga asanas while incorporating modifications for all skill levels, accommodating beginners and experienced aerial yogis alike. Including a warm up sequence, creative flow sequences, both in and out of the silk, balancing and strengthening poses, inversions and a relaxing savasana, this class is the perfect mid-day pick me up that will get you in and out, and on with your day.

ALL LEVELS SUNRISE FLOW

Similar to our All Levels class, this 50-minute class will use the breath to move through aerial yoga asanas while incorporating modifications for all skill levels, accommodating beginners and experienced aerial yogis alike. It will begin with a warm up sequence to heat up the body, followed by creative flow sequences including inversions and deep stretching, both in and out of the silk, perfect to get you ready for your day!

ALL LEVELS PURE FLEX

This class will focus on active stretching that targets strengthening primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back that will aid in increasing mobility and flexibility. Class begins with warm-up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles to for deep stretching, including holding poses for longer periods of time while focusing on breath to give the body time to fully relax and open, promoting strength needed for increased flexibility.

ELEVATED LOW FLOW

The perfect way to let go of your day and make space for the rest of the week! Students will enjoy a dynamic aerial yoga flow designed to release, relax and strengthen the body and mind. You can expect a flowing series of asanas designed to strengthen and release tension from the body while coordinating with the breath. The linking of rhythmic breath and movement create a meditative, relaxing experience all while flowing through the sequence to generate optimal wellness and mind body unity. This class is great for those looking for a change of pace from our All Levels class, or a more gently-paced version of our more advanced classes.

ELEVATED 'ISH'

This class focuses on warming up and preparing the body for our more advanced classes. It begins with slow, controlled movement, such as sun salutations, using the silk as a prop, followed by moving into poses that stretch and open up your body and mind. Focusing on the strength and flexibility needed to prepare the body to take on flows and asanas you can expect in our Elevated class. This class leaves you feeling challenged, and ready to take on more advanced aerial yoga classes!

STRENGTHEN + LENGTHEN

If you have been to our other classes and are looking to deepen your practice, build on your strength, and explore new inversions, this class is for you! We will explore complex but accessible sequences that focus on strength, balance and flexibility - both on the ground and suspended in the air. This class will incorporate strength building, conditioning and lengthening asanas that will help take your aerial yoga practice to the next level! Some of these movements will allow you to invert while others will explore new ways to use the silk as a prop! Like all other classes, we will end with a relaxing, grounding savasana.

ELEVATED PURE FLEX

Looking to take your strength and flexibility to the next level? This class will focus on deep active stretching that takes strengthening targets muscle groups to a whole new level that will aid in increasing mobility and flexibility. Class begins with a heated warm-up to prepare the muscles to for advanced deep stretching, including holding poses for longer periods of time while focusing on breath to give the body time to fully open up and make space for strength needed for increased flexibility.

ELEVATED

If you have been to our other classes and are ready for more challenging and advanced flows, this class is for you! We will explore sequences that focus on strength, balance and flexibility - both on the ground and suspended in the air. This class will incorporate strength building and conditioning asanas, geared towards strengthening your lower body, upper body and the core, as well as conditioning your cardiovascular system too! Some of these movements will allow you to invert while other will use the silk as a prop to explore advanced variations of planks and sun salutations! Like all other classes, we will end with a relaxing, grounding savasana.
